KPV’s mission is to empower the youth of Kohala to walk a path that is pono, cultivating strong roots in nature, culture, spirit and service. The program offers unique personal development opportunities through an intensive, year-long program focused on service learning, mentorship, cultural experiences, outdoor activities and other inspiring opportunities that connect youth to the larger world around them, both social and environmental. All activities are led by positive adult role models who are able to awaken youths’ spirits, develop purpose and potential, and open their hearts to live and serve fully.
